Account Registration
1. Before downloading the game, you need to register an account otherwise you won't be able to play. Note that Registration isn't open 24/7. If registration turns out to be closed, check the forums for information regarding when they will open again. To register, you need to fill the form over on the [playerdex.pokemon-world-online.net/register.php Playerdex].
2. Read the Terms of Service before you register. Some of the rules listed on it are very important to remember in order to keep your in-game record clean so be sure to take a few minutes to look it over. For another copy of the Terms of Service plus the general rules of PWO, go here. When you finish reading, click Agree.
3. When your page finishes loading, scroll down, give your e-mail address, make your in-game name (IGN) & password, and then select a gender. Click Register. You're username and password must be at least four characters long and no special characters.
Before clicking on Register you will also be required to type in a code from a image. If you get 'Submission Error' go to the troubleshooting area at the bottom of this page.
4. You will be directed to a page titled Awaiting Verification. Now, go to your e-mail Inbox and look for the Verification e-mail. If it is not in the Inbox, check the Spam folder. Emails can take upto 24 hours to arrive, if it doesn't arrive after that time register another account. You could also try having the email resent.
5. Your e-mail should look similar to the one shown on the right. Click the link to be redirected to Playerdex.
6. If the next page is titled Registration Complete, you may close Playerdex. If you need to download the client then go here. Open up Pokemon World Online and start playing (as long as the server is up). Your character should start at Starters Island.
Troubleshooting
- Everytime I click the verification link, Playerdex keeps saying VERIFY!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should I do?!
- First, try clicking the Verification Page link. If it keeps redirecting you to the same page, scroll down until you see a Notice Board. Click Continue.
- Every time I click Agree on the Registration page, the page keeps asking me to resend e-mail?
- If you have registered a few times then you will be blocked off until you verified your emails.
- When I try logging in, it says "Invalid Username & Password." But I thought I already verified my account?
- Try getting your username or password resent through beta.playerdex.com - if your username or email isn't recognised, then register a new account.
- I received the Verification link but it took me to a page titled "System Error." I have waited 24 hours since I registered and my account was never verified. What should I do?
- You need to register a new account.
- When I go to Playerdex, it says "Error, Can't Find Page."
- When registration opens, usually the traffic gets busy therefore causing you to get this error or experience lag, keep trying.
- Submission error
- If you get 'Submission Error' then that usually means that you are either typing the image code incorrectly or using a username that is already in use.
- Tips for image codes:
- All codes are to be typed in Capital letters
- For numbers you are using only 2-9
- If you see either a 1 or a 0 then it is a capital I and a capital 0.
- If using Firefox or Google Chrome try opening the code in a new window/tab and type that one out
- If there is code appearing below the form, then refresh the page till it no longer appears.
