Introduction
Azalea Town is a city located in the Southern part of Johto. It is the second town in Johto which contains a Gym. This town also contains Slowpoke Well, which contains mainly, as the name suggests, Slowpoke's. Players usually choose to train there as the Pokemon drop a good amount of experience for that stage in the game, also for players who have a Mareep in their party and wish to train it, it is an optimal place since Electric-Type Pokemon are super-effective against the Slowpoke's.
Azalea Gym
The Azalea Town Gym is located at the bottom left of the Town. The NPC's in this gym uses primarily Bug-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader is Bugsy and players will need 9 REP to battle him. Once defeated, players will receive the Hive Badge as a reward. The layout of the Gym is pretty straight forward for people starting in Johto or Kanto. Players must simply navigate towards Bugsy while defeating some unavoidable NPC's.
