Client Troubleshooting
While playing the game, you may experience issues with the client. This page has solutions to solve known problems. If you have a problem, that doesn't have a solution on this page or around the wiki, then search the Forums or report it on our Tracker.
Black and White Screen
When logging into the client you may find that most of your client is white boxes instead of looking how it should. This means that your client files are likely corrupt and will need replacing. You can download a zip folder with the files you need to replace here. From your pwo GFX folder (Usually can be found in My Computer -> C: -> Program files -> Pokemon World Online -> Skin -> Default), you need to delete the current ones and then move the ones from the downloaded folder to there.
Client is already running
Sometimes you may find that your client just randomly closes on you and when you try to reopen it, it claims that the client is still running in the background. This is usually due to the main process that runs in the background, is still running while the client itself is closed. This can be resolved by either using CTRL+ALT+DEL on your keyboard and choosing Task Manager from there or right-clicking your task bar and choosing Task Manager from there. Once in that window, choose processes and look for PWO.exe. You will then click End Process and you should now beable to run the client.
Please note ending the wrong process, could result in problems.
