Frozen login

The Frozen Login Issue. It is a Common issue on PWO that only occurs during initial Login.

Problem

If you logged in and you took notice that it appears to be taking extended period of time to play and you can not close the News & updates Message Board AND you can not press the close button in the client. No Matter what you do you just can not Exit this game!

Quick Fix

Windows Task Manager

If this happens to you rarely. Press Alt+Ctrl+Del, or right-clcik on the taskbar and select Task Manager. Press on the Processes Tab and find PWO.exe (may vary based on your Windows version). After you found it, select End Process in the bottom right of the dialog or right-click on it and press End Process/End Process Tree.

Extended issue

If you have this happen to you many times and you are irritated at pressing alt+ctrl+Del & ending the process, Download this program to help you close PWO instantly after starting it. I would suggest putting it somewhere close by.
