Ilex Forest is located between Goldenrod City and Azalea Town together with Route 34. This forest is full of Bug and Grass-type Pokémon. This forest have a small water area where Psyduck lives in it.

Ilex Forest Quest are also available for players to start in this location, which gives you reward based on what region you started upon completion the quest.

Ilex Forest Quest is required to be complete if you are a Johto Starter. It's an optional quest for Kanto Starter.
