The Mareep Ranch-house Quest begins in the Mareep Ranch-house in [[Route 39]] by talking to Jason. Jason wants you to train a [[Mareep]] into a strong [[Ampharos]] for him, so that he could supply the [[TM24|Thunderbolt TM]] to Goldenrod City Department Store. You also have to raise its [[Happiness|happiness]] value until maximum. At the end of this quest, you will be given a [[TM24]], and you'll be able to purchase said TM in Goldenrod City Department Store for {{pdollar}}5,000.

==Walkthrough==

===Step 1===
Enter the Mareep Ranch-house in [[Route 39]]. Talk to an NPC named Jason. Jason will ask you to train a level 10 [[Mareep]] into an [[Ampharos]]. You also have to raise its [[Happiness|happiness]] value until maximum. 

===Step 2===
The [[Mareep]] you received will be stored in your PC if your party's full. Simply train the [[Mareep]] until it evolves into an [[Ampharos]]. Then, focus on raising its [[Happiness|happiness]] value until maximum, by fainting other Pokemon, or levelling up further. Although not recommended, [[Items#Soothe_Bell|Soothe Bell]] can also be applied on [[Ampharos]] to raise its happiness as well. To check its [[Happiness|happiness]] value, simply set it as your first Pokemon in your party and talk to it.

===Step 3===
Once you've obtained an [[Ampharos]] with maximum [[Happiness|happiness]] value, show it to Jason. He will reward you with 1 [[TM24]]. You can now also purchase said TM in Goldenrod City Department Store for {{pdollar}}5,000.
