Memberships
Note
Membership is given to players who have purchased it through the Playerdex whether it's via their own account or another player who is giving them away. The money from memberships is used to help pay for the current servers and could potentially go on to fund future servers for the game.

Membership benefits
As a result of getting membership with Pokemon World Online, you will get the following:
- Your Pokemon will gain an extra 50% more EXP from all Pokemon Battles
- You will gain double money from all wild battles
- Your chances of finding the rarer, different-colored Shiny Pokemon increase by 300%
- A 1 token discount from all items in the token store once membership is active
Please note that at least 6 tokens are required to purchase membership, and that you won't gain tokens for membership. For tokens, you need to do a regular donation.
Purchasing Membership
Prior to purchasing membership, you will be required to donate for tokens to cover membership bundle costs. Once logged in to [playerdex], click on 'Token Store' from the top menu. From there, click on the "View store" button, and if you have at least 3 tokens you will be able to access the token store list.
Purchasing membership for yourself
From the token store list, you can see what Pokémon and items/bundles are available to you. What you see is determined by how many tokens you have; if you do not have enough tokens to purchase a pokemon or item, it will not appear on the list. For reference, a 30-day membership bundle costs 6 tokens, and a 60-day membership bundle costs 10 tokens. (Membership is prepaid only, and there is currently no subscription option.)
Once you have decided on an option, click on the "Select to buy!" radio button, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the square "Buy" button at the end of the list. You should be redirected to a page that confirms that you have successfully purchased membership, and the membership benefits should activate within the following 24 hours.
If you have an existing membership, purchasing another will extend the expiration date of your current membership. This means that a person can continuously have membership benefits without their membership expiring if they buy another one before the one they have expires.
Purchasing membership for some one else
For now, you can not purchase a membership for somebody else.
How to Cancel a Membership Subscription
Using Paypal
- Log into Paypal. Find a link that says 'Profile'.
- You should now be on your 'Profile Summary'. Under the second column listed as 'Financial Information', click on 'Pay List' (it's at the bottom of that column).
- You should now be on the 'Pay List Overview' page. Under 'Merchants', there should be a link that is the PWO Billing Account. Select it. If your not sure Look at the amount per month you are Paying.
- You will be redirected to the 'Billing Details' page. Where it says 'Status', click on 'Cancel'.
- You are Finished
Not received membership
If you found that after 24 hours you don't have membership on your account, then you need to report it via the forum. If the membership was done by yourself, you need to report it via the the forums. Please ensure that you provide a receipt. If the membership was supposed to be provided by someone else, try to get into contact with the person who was supposed to gift it to you. If they ignored all contact with you or you don't find them ingame, it is recommended that you then post in Community Watch on the forums. Ensure you provide screenshots of the trade that took place and include Pokemon IDs.
