Missing Features

PWO is still a BETA Game and so its still under-development, as with many BETA games, this means that some features are missing or don't work correctly/as you would expect them to work. In this page you can see most of the missing features as well as a short explanation of why it's missing or how it doesn't work correctly.

Missing Features

HM's or TM's.
Currently there are no way to each your Pokemon moves through the use of HM's or TM's. You can however Surf using a surfboard, and Fly might be implemented at a later time.

EV training.
Currently there is no way to train your Pokemon using the "EV" system.

Daycare's or Breeding Pokemon
Currently there is no in-game way to leave your Pokemon in your a daycare or to breed them. There are however Daycares by other people in-game who will train your Pokemon for in-game money.

Other Regions.
Currently, only the Regions Kanto and Johto are available to play. Other Regions will be added at a later time.

Pokemon Natures/Genders
Currently there is no different Genders or Pokemon Natures in-game. However there are still Female Nidoran and Male Nidoran.

Multi-Line Evolutions
Currently there is no way to evolve Pokemon such as Eevee to different forms of that Pokemon, for example Umbreon or Flareon. The Pokemon will just evolve into it's Evolution that is next to it on the Playerdex. (i.e. Eevee Evolves into Joleton)

Happiness/Stat Evolution
Currently there is no way to evolve Pokemon based off Happiness as PWO does not have this, you can however use a Sooth Bell to Evolve such Pokemon that require Happiness to evolve.

Legendary Pokemon
Wouldn't be very legendary if everyone was running around with a Legendary Pokemon, for this reason Legends are not obtainable in game.

Gen IV Pokemon
Currently there is no way to obtain Gen IV Pokemon, ocassionally though on the Holidays there will be locations where you might have a chance to get one. Such as in Dusk Town for the 2011 Halloween Event.

Unfinished Features

Experience System
Currently, When you evolve a Pokemon you have to train off Negative experience off it to make up for the difference in Base experience of the two Pokemon.

Battle System
Currently there are many moves in PWO which are broken (don't work as intended), this results in a incomplete battle system where some Pokemon are at a huge disadvantage.
