Mt. Silver Mini Quest

Introduction

This quest is a mini quest that players that can access to Mt. Silver (with 16 badges) able to do. It let you a chance to battle Moltres and let you have permanent access to the 5th Floor of Mt. Silver.

Walkthrough

Professor Adena

Step 1

Talk to Professor Adena. She is in the lab located at Mt. Silver Lower Mountainside. She will tell you that she needs 3 Molten Feathers for her research. She will also tell you that NPC trainers have those Molten Feathers, and one of them is at Mt. Silver 3F while the other one is at Mt. Silver 4F.

Step 2

Go to Mt. Silver 3F and fight with the NPC trainer. A NPC trainer named "Hiker Goodes" inside the cave of Mt. Silver 3F have the first Molten Feather. Beat him to get it, if you can't see your first Molten Feather in your bagpack, try typing /ref and check again.

Step 3

Go to Mt. Silver 4F. You don't need to fight the NPC in this floor but you need to find where is the feather located. The second Molten Feather will be acquired when you press spacebar on the rocks behind the NPC "Bill McGee".

Step 4

Return to Professor Adena in the lowermountainside lab after you obtained the First Molten Feathers and Dusty Molten Feathers (second). This time she will tell you that there is a hidden chamber behind a waterfall, and you need to find where is it.

Step 5

Go to the waterfall that Professor Adena is talking about. It is located at Mt. Silver 2F between two NPC bikers named Hiker Grossi and Youngster Lionel are standing. Press spacebar on the waterfall in the middle of the 2 bikers. You will be ask want to enter the Mt. Silver Moltres Cave. After you take the two feathers to the chamber, noting will happen, the message will tell you to return to Professor Adena again about the Moltres sign.

Step 6

Return to Professor Adena and she will say you should talk to NPC "Navigator Pressly" so he could escort you to Mt. Silver 5F. Talk to Navigator Pressly that are also in the lab.

Step 7

After you reach Mt. Silver 5F, go to the very end of the 5F and you will find a NPC named "Ethan". Talk to Ethan and he will fight with you. You wil get the Final Molten Feather after you beat Ethan.

Notes: *Once Battled again, NPC's Pokémon grow stronger up to 3-4 times.

Ethan and Professor Adena

Step 8

Talk to Professor Adena that just standing near Ethan in 5F, and you will be teleported to the Mt. Silver Summit to summon the Moltres. Go to the very top to the Summit and press spacebar, it will say some message about the Molten Feathers are all glowing. A Moltres will appear after the message ends.

Note that if you had battled Moltres, you won't be able to rebattle Moltres again (no more access to Mt. Silver Summit). However if you leave the Summit before you fight Moltres, you can still talk to the NPC Scientist standing beside the Professor to enter the Summit. It doesn't affect you anything if you lose to Moltres.

Step 9

You will received a Moltres Feather after you beat Moltres. Go back to Professor Adena and the quest is completed.
