Overview

Special moves rely on the user's Special Attack stat and the defender's Special Defense stat in damage calculations.

The difference between what determines if a move is considered special or physical in Pokémon World Online is not the same as the handheld games. Instead, Pokémon World Online uses the move's type to determine whether or not an attack is special or physical. In Pokémon World Online, the following attack types are considered special: Electric, Fire, Grass, Ice, Psychic, and Water.
