== History Section ==

I would like to further expand the history section of the page, to cover more major events that occurred in PWO's history. Currently, a large portion of the history section simply covers the incident with Zidonuke, and I would like it to cover more major events including: The change from the java client to the current client, changing forum boards from phpBB to the current IP.Boards back in 2009, the closure of registration in February of 2010, the extended downtime spanning from Septemeber of 2010 to January of 2011, as well as the following C&D order (I myself noted these 2 events recently, but they could require some revising), among other major events.

If you can provide more details on these events, such as the precise dates they occurred, among other notes, I would appreciate it and be willing to cover these myself.

Also, if the history section becomes too extensive, we can possibly consider organizing different events into sub-sections, such as the history of the staff and changes in the structure, history of the forums, etc...

I think the Donations being off and the reasons for them coming off are important to note here, as well as them coming back on. This page should not only be for previous history, but our current events as well.[[User:Professor.Oak|Professor.Oak]] 20:54, 29 June 2012 (BST)

I was considering adding a "Progress" section and a "Retired Maps" section, but I'll need some help with it. (This can, ofc, contain things like fixing the donation issue/adding soothe bell into the game.) 
Even without exact dates I feel like they would be nice bits of trivia that would keep the page more balanced. I also made Past Glitches page that could fit in with PWO's history if we just merge it.

However, I can't remember all the maps that used to be publicly accessible that are now unused. Only ones I can think of are...

* 1. Old johto maps before revamp
* 2. Cinnabar tunnels (Note: Not seafoam.)
* 3. Starter's path
* 4. Battle HQ
* 5. Trade city
* 6. Secret Area 1
* 7. The secret cave that was replaced by SRR

On top of this, there are several updates that I DO remember but don't even know what year (or order) they happened in. 

If this stuff is not okay to add (or somebody wants to help me with it), give me a holler.
