Trade Evolutions

Trade evolution is bugged in PWO but it is simple to activate it, and even easier to to deal with. Currently, Trade Evolution will only work on these following Pokémon:

064 Kadabra -> 065 Alakazam

067 Machoke -> 068 Machamp

075 Graveler -> 076 Golem

093 Haunter -> 094 Gengar

Remember, you need 30 Reputation points to trade. Make sure before you try to evolve a pokemon by trade that the pokemon is in your party so you will be able to trade it. Here is the confusing part, most people will ask the other player to tradeback the pokemon and assume when they get it back, it will be the pokemon next in the evolution chain. BUT this step is not neccesary unless the next step does not trigger the evolution. All you need to do is trade 1 Pokémoney. Keep your Pokémon AWAY from the trade. Both players must accept the trade. After the trade has been completed, the evolution will trigger. In general, you can make any trade to trigger the evolution but this one is the easiest.

But in case the Trade Evolution did not trigger, here is what you do:

• Trade with someone.

• Trade the person a Pokémon, it does not matter what it is but NOT THE TRADE-EVOLVING POKÉMON.

• Without changing the position of any your Pokémon, battle and defeat a wild Pokémon.

• The Evolution should trigger. If this does not work, do the same thing but defeat a NPC instead of a wild Pokémon.
