Underground Tunnels
Underground tunnels allow you to underneath a town of which you may be blocked from going through. These are useful for when you don't have all your Kanto badges as you may need a certain badge to get through the town but you haven't got that badge and your next badge is in a town past it. There are currently two main tunnels.
- Cerulean City to Vermilion City
- First you go to Route 5 and in the bottom right hand corner should be a building.
- Once you go in there continue to walk South.
- Once you reach the other side, go up the stairs and you should now be on Route 6.
- Lavender Town to Celadon City
- First you need to head over to Route 8. In the top left hand corner, there should be a building.
- Once inside you just continue to walk west until you reach the other end.
- Just go up the stairs once you reach them and you have now arrived at Route 7.
