Attention!

This page is under construction. You should not use this as a guide for now. Also, PWO on a Mac is largely unsupported by the Developers. You will not get any support from them if you ask.

Solution A: Virtual Machine (Easy)

For this section, we will be using Parallels for Mac. Parallels costs US$79, but you can use other software like VMWare (US$50) or VirtualBox (Free, but untested). Some steps may differ if you are not using Parallels.

Note: You will require a Windows install disc/image file and a license. We don't support piracy!

  1. Install Virtual Machine
  2. Install VM Additions (Prls Tools?)
  3. Install PWO, fixes if necessary

Solution B: Wine (Medium-Hard)

A topic on the forums recommends using Wine, which is essentially a Windows simulator, but you don't need to have a Windows install disc or even a Windows license.

  1. Install Wine Bottler
  2. Winetricks (directx runtime and vb6run)
  3. install pwo
  4. fixes if necessary.
