Template Discussion

American vs UK spelling

Looking at the recent changes you've made, I can see that you greatly prefer the wiki using the spelling common in the UK. I'm just going to let you know now, if you refer to the American spelling (e.g. color) as misspellings, then I'll probably be making a lot of spelling mistakes when it comes to the slight differences in the spelling of words between the two regions. Actually, those changes were incidential, and not the spelling mistakes I was referring to at all. However, the matter of keeping language consistent over PWO media went to staff discussion a while ago and became a topic of discussion on the forums, and it was generally agreed that European spellings of words should be used in almost all cases. --Jinji, The Human Gengar (talk|contribs) 14:49, 18 November 2010 (GMT)
