Cinnabar Volcano Path is a junctional cave that is a pathway between Cinnabar Volcano Island and Cinnabar Volcano Gym. To reach the gym, climb down the ladder that is incentered in the cave, then it will lead to Doorman Don; he will admit you into the gym if you have the required badge (Marsh Badge).

Cinnabar Volcano Tunnel, alongside Cinnabar Volcano Island in itself, is among the first permanent map additions in which the rarity-tier labels—Common, Rare, Very Rare, and Horribly Rare—were not revealed; this means that the rarity-tier labels of this map's Pokémon spawns were never known, and have been subject to speculation since.
