Bypassing Viridian Forest

Route 2 offers players with the Thunder Badge of Vermilion City to maneuver to the right of Viridian Forest and go to either Pewter City, Viridian City, or Digletts Cave. There are 2 sets of NPC's that allow players to do this, one set at the northern end, and one at the southern end.
