Eggs
Pokémon eggs can be turned into the daycare centres, on Route 34 or Route 5, for caretaking by the daycare personnel. After an indeterminate amount of hours, the egg will hatch under the daycarer's custody; it will be claimable for pick-up after it is, giving one a full-grown Pokémon from that hatched egg.
Fossils

Fossils are the residue of fossilized, prehistoric Pokémon. They can be turned into the Cinnabar Island Lab, for the scientists within the lab to reanimate it into a live Pokémon.
