General Information
New Bark Town is the first town you start in if you pick Johto. In Professor Elm's lab, you will be able to choose from one of the three starters, which are: Chikorita, the Grass-type Pokémon; Cyndaquil, the Fire-type Pokémon; or Totodile, the Water-type Pokemon.
You can also enter into all the houses and talk to all the NPCs there, as well as the ones outside.
Points of Interest
The Manager NPC inside PokéMart have a quest for you, to recover stolen merchandise (dropped by wild Sentret at Route 29) from the store. For every 3 he will reward you a Pokéball.
Whenever special events are occurring, the Event Transport NPC will take you to the event map. Once the event is finished, NPC will no longer transport you there until next event is going on.

Points of interest
Porter
The NPC named "Porter" next to the lake will teleport you to Kanto for $3000 if you have a Kanto Passport. However you can't use this service if you have a Plain Badge.
