Cerulean City is a city located in Kanto. It is bordered on four different routes. Players must beat Misty in order to advance south to Route 5, en route to Vermilion City for the 3rd Kanto badge. When players have obtained the Cascade badge, they may speak to an NPC by a tree in the southern area of the city, who will allow them to pass if they can present the Cascade badge.

Bicycle Shop

The bicycle shop in Cerulean City is one of the two stores in PWO where a player may purchase a bicycle, the other city being Goldenrod City. For the cost PokémonDollar.png500,000, you may purchase a bicycle, which facilitates faster movement than walking. Riding the bicycle requires an Earth badge from Viridian City (if Kanto is your starting region), or a Rising badge from Blackthorn City (if Johto is your starting region).

Cerulean Cave

Main article: Cerulean Cave

Located on the outskirts of Cerulean City is the Cerulean Cave, which is home to the highest level wild Pokémon in the game. At the end of the cave, an NPC has a Mewtwo, which players can battle against. Although they can not capture it, battling against it allows players to record the seen data for the Mewtwo on their Pokédex.

The cave is only accessible to players who have completed the Cerulean Cave Quest, which required all 16 badges in the game to start. Due to the potency of the Pokémon in the cave, it is considered the best training spot available in the game.

Players who have fulfilled the requirements to enter the cave may reach it by surfing south of the water body on Route 24, which leads to the land surface of the cave entrance.

Cerulean City Gym

Cerulean City's gym uses primarily Water-type Pokémon.

Like all gyms in Pokémon World Online, the levels of the trainers inside the gym depend on the type of passport a player has. Those with a Kanto Passport will battle lower-level trainers while those with a Johto Passport will battle higher-level trainers.
